Is that the audience for Dissidia was already built into the current install base, aside from the 146,000 who bought one. Nothing too unordinary. We've seen it with all consoles/handhelds before.
Solid sales again for the PS family in Japan, Nintendo dominates everywhere and the 7 year old PS2 continues to give 360, with a now boatload of JRPGS, a run for its money.
A total ipod software ripoff gets a AAA score from...an XBOX site? Hmmmm.... trying to take down the PSP now are we?
I'll stick with Chains of Olympus...thx.
think before you post. Time will tell where the graphics match up.
I will buy this game day one. Consider it pre-ordered. This and the Star Ocean support is making me less mad at Square...though closed-theatre = suck
honestly, anything to burn the PS3. The gaming media are funny.
Enough said.
actually...38/40 for Last Remnant
Famitsu is pitiful.
Let's hope my Bears can get in there and have a second round showdown!
This all said, voicechat is quite necessary!
Rogue Galaxy took a year.
Dec 05 for Japan
Jan 07 for America
Yeah, I'm sure Level 5 is hard at work on that localization...especially with online to translate too. I think DQVIII was just as long...hurray!
Is still to me, player of all FFs to date, the best entry in the franchise mostly for the fast-paced, flashy turn-based combat it featured. I loved it.
bu...bu...Sony is teh fail!
Yeah, this is why you need to consider PS3 a dual-market product. This is what I've been saying since day one, but it's hard to get past the fanboys and the specified media's narrow-minded stances. Fools.
To Famitsu's review. 40/40 confirmed, Square-Enix FTW! 38/40 Last Remnant!
*sigh*
140 million PS2
25 million XBOX
23 million Gamecube
THAT WAS LAST GEN. This gen?
41 million Wii
25 million XBOX360
18 million PS3
And yet where the F were the doom and gloom articles about Gamecube and XBOX last-gen hmmm? This is completely biased media, the numbers don't lie. Sony is in last right now and quite frankly, at the price the PS3 sells at, how they're not making a profit despite not racking in top unit number...
Very good. I need more of this, not just closed theatre garbage.
Oh, wait...closed theatre...AGAIN. You know Square, this isn't doing you any favors...cool new info, but I get to see nothing. ME. THE CUSTOMER. I suppose that makes sense...right?
the secret is, it sucks...or maybe they're just arrogant pricks who think this'll help. GTA IV hasn't sold up to snuff like San Andreas (VGChartz, even with both versions), maybe those GTAIV closed theatres were an issue for that game? Maybe it ISN'T so much of a sure thing. Heck, GTA IV really wasn't even that good...maybe that's another sign that 13 truly is an unlucky number...
Thing is, Square/Enix (seperate at the time) actually made justifications for space being the issue for why they abandoned Nintendo for Sony. They wanted the compact discs and, hell, Square NEEDED it for the size of their PSone era FFs. Star Ocean, from what I understand (there isn't as much about it as there is the FFVII switch) was a similar situation. THAT, while upsetting at first, was understandable. Last time I checked, capacity wasn't a reason to ditch PS3 for 360.
we have every right to moan about this. This is anti-gamer, anti-fan and there is yet to be any explaination for why Square is doing this. In fact, this whole project has been clouded in secrecy and BS, like the fact we've yet to see ANY TRUE EXTENDED IN-GAME FOOTAGE or the multiplatform switch which is completely axed in hypocricy by Star Ocean's 360 exclusivity.
Square, despite earning a couple sales from me next year with Dissidia, SO4 and the Second Evolution PSP release, t...
It's of Last Remnant quality and they're too scared to show us....*yikes* at that thought!
Must buy March 3
Half-naked chick FTW!
lol
